The Hautes-Vosges of Alsace: the playground for sports clubs

Organising a sports training camp in the Vosges means choosing one of France's most versatile mountain ranges. Between ridges over 1,400 metres, conifer forests, legendary cycling passes and mountain lakes, the Saint-Amarin area offers exceptional physical preparation conditions for all endurance and outdoor sports.

Regisland's gîtes are the ideal training base in this massif. Gîte Gentiane in Saint-Amarin, with its 426 m² exclusively for your club, becomes your headquarters: trail or MTB departures directly from the door, back to the gîte for recovery in the year-round heated pool, the private 8-person hammam, the sauna or the infrared cabin. This level of integrated recovery equipment within the accommodation is rare among sports training facilities in France.

The Grand Ballon (1,424 m, 19 km away), the highest point in the Vosges massif, is reachable on foot or by MTB from Saint-Amarin. It's an unmissable outing for trail runs and endurance camps, with elevation and panoramic views that motivate even the most seasoned athletes. The Col de Bussang, 7 km away, is a must for cyclists who love Vosges passes. The Route des Crêtes, 15 km away, offers 70 km of ridge line for trail running, gravel cycling or hiking.

For hiking and trekking clubs, marked trails abound in the Thur valley. The tour of the Lande lakes, the Urbès tunnel trail (a 19th-century industrial relic integrated into a unique nature trail) and the Mehrbachel circuit are among the most popular routes. These memorable outings build team cohesion that perfectly complements technical training sessions.

In winter, the Markstein ski resort (33 km) and La Bresse (35 km) enable alpine or cross-country skiing camps from Regisland. Gentiane's year-round heated pool is particularly appreciated after ski sessions, warm-water recovery is ideal in cold weather. Hammam and sauna complete the recovery protocol to keep athletes in top form.

Gentiane's professional kitchen is suited to the nutritional needs of athletes. Large-capacity refrigerators, professional oven, cooking equipment for 15 people: your chef or nutritionist-trainer will find everything they need. Sharing meals in a convivial setting is an integral part of the training camp experience, that's where the bonds are built that make strong teams.

Jonquille in Oderen is the solution for larger clubs: up to 24 athletes in a privatised estate with indoor pool, exclusive outdoor spa, hammam and sauna. The estate's modularity (Jonquille + 2 annexes) also allows separate areas to be organised as needed, coaching staff in one wing, athletes in another, or groups separated by level.

Regisland's accessibility is an asset for regional clubs: 30 minutes from Mulhouse, 45 minutes from Colmar, 1.5 hours from Strasbourg. The German border is 30 minutes away, clubs from Baden-Württemberg and the Freiburg region (1 hour) regularly train in the Hautes-Vosges. Mulhouse TGV is 30 minutes away, which facilitates travel for clubs arriving by train from Paris or Lyon.

Regisland's all-inclusive Global Package is particularly well-suited to non-profit clubs managing tight budgets: one price per stay, cleaning included, beds made on arrival included, electricity and utilities included. No surprises on the final bill. The €600 deposit is the only variable charge, returned at the end of the stay if no damage is found.
