Driving directions

The most direct route follows the Thur valley (D66). Well signposted from Mulhouse and Thann, it passes through magnificent Vosges scenery all the way to Saint-Amarin.

By train, TER Mulhouse → Saint-Amarin

The TER Mulhouse–Saint-Amarin regional train line serves the Thur valley directly. Saint-Amarin station is just 900 metres on foot from Gîte Gentiane, about 10 minutes walking towards Vogelbach.

From Mulhouse, the journey takes around 40 minutes by regional train. From Colmar, change at Mulhouse or Thann. Check timetables on the SNCF website or the Grand Est Region website.

Arriving by coach or minibus

Regisland gîtes are accessible by group coach or minibus. The D66 road is suitable for passenger vehicles and small coaches. Please let us know your arrival time so we can prepare a warm welcome.

Regisland is ideally situated for groups coming from Germany and Switzerland. Just 30 minutes from the French-German border, our gîtes are among the most accessible group destinations in Alsace for cross-border visitors.

From Freiburg im Breisgau, count about 1 hour via the A5 motorway and the bridge at Strasbourg or Mulhouse. From Stuttgart, 2 hours via the A5. The Haut-Rhin border region has historically been a favourite destination for German and Swiss groups seeking authenticity.
